Founding of Climatisation Fortier et Frères by Roger Fortier

1971

Since it was founded in 1956, the A/C systems company Climatisation Fortier et Frêres was often asked to build elaborate wine cellar rooms.

Founding of TROLEC by Roger Fortier

1974

Founding of  Immeubles Quatrères in the Pilon industrial park situated in St-Hubert


1981

Condominiums gain in popularity and Mr. Fortier had the vision to enter the small residential apartment sized units. CAVAVIN was founded. 

1993

Nathalie Fortier completes her studies in business administration and joins the familly group of businesses


2000

Nathalie Fortier becomes President of CAVAVIN.

2002

CAVAVIN completes its product offer with affordable wine cellars that are designed in Canada and made in Asia.

2004

Sale of Quatrères buildings but keep the building where CAVAVIN and TROLEC have their head offices. This building is named Gestion Famille Fortier

2006

Construction of a new manufacturing facility for TROLEC 


2014

Major renovations at CAVAVIN's head office

2016

CAVAVIN renews its collections for a better quality products and finds new partners

2019

CAVAVIN signs a contract with two new distributors in order to obtain a better market penetration and moves its head office in Trolec's building situated at 4700 Thibault Ave. in ST-Hubert, Qc, Canada. All three companies are now under one roof
